What is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)?
EFT is more often referred to as Tapping. I like to describe it as emotional acupuncture: by using our own fingers to gently tap on specific spots on our hands and face, we can take our nervous system out of fight-or-flight. I've used this tool more often with folks navigating anxiety but it can also be used for working through traumatic events, addressing core beliefs and other challenges.
One of the fundamental beliefs in EFT is that all negative feelings are caused by a disruption in our nervous system. Our bodies are wise - they hold our memories and are crucial guides in our healing journey.
